Join us for a special screening of ‘Fiona Clark: Unafraid’. Directed by Lula Cucchiara, the documentary traces Fiona Clark’s groundbreaking photographic practice that has shaped queer visual history in Aotearoa New Zealand and beyond.

About the Film

When Fiona Clark first exhibited her photography of the LGBTQI+ community in 1975, she faced the systemic backlash of an oppressive society. Unafraid, Fiona battles the patriarchy and we discover how her documentation and contributions to the community have helped transform New Zealand society.

About the artist
