Disclosed Impressions highlights the diverse artistic contributions of the Migrant Women’s Art Group in Gungahlin. These culturally relevant works explore colour, composition and personal stories using a wide variety of mediums and techniques.
The Migrant Women’s Art Group is presented by Gungahlin Arts and supports women who have migrated to Australia and live in the Canberra region to develop and share their unique creative voice. Throughout 2025, the group has worked with textiles, wearable art, sculpture, drawing and painting and this exhibition presents a snapshot of some of the outcomes of these sessions – as well as a record of the social connections and relationships developed through the program.
