Is There Anybody Out There? is a multi-art activation presented by the SIGNAL Curators Collective. Using SIGNAL’s outdoor screens, mural boards, and indoor space, the activation explores the interconnectedness of people in the community. Taking inspiration from the often-asked question in science fiction “what’s out there in the universe this event explores different perceptions of community and showcases the magic of collaboration. The feeling of loneliness is universal; thus, we are not actually alone.

The SIGNAL Curators Collective is a program for emerging artists and curators aged 16 to 25 years, offering a space to make art, build friendship, and receive creative mentorship.

The launch event will take place at the SIGNAL building on Thursday, 21 August from 6pm to 8pm.

Bring yourself and your creativity! We’ll provide the snacks and drinks – join us to experience new art, build friendships and enjoy the music!

Age: All ages

This event is suitable for young people and their families and friends.

The launch event is Auslan interpreted.
