Guided by Hari Maharjan Project – Nepal’s foremost fusion ensemble, and produced by Sangam Productions, this event unites Newar (Newa) cultural traditions with bold jazz improvisation at the Sydney Opera House.
Hari Maharjan Project: Led by celebrated guitarist and composer Hari Maharjan, this ensemble has redefined Nepali music on the international stage. Their signature style – Newa Gypsy Jazz – fuses Kathmandu’s folk legacy with improvisational brilliance.
