If you’ve always had a character you’d love to draw or a story idea you’d like to explore, this workshop is for you. In this hands-on session, you’ll brainstorm ideas, develop animal and human characters, learn to draw them from front and side views, and bring expression and heart to your watercolour and coloured pencil sketches. By the end, you’ll have a series of character sketches, a colourful character sheet and the beginnings of a picture book story concept to build on.
