Bloom
Eggpicnic
Bloom explores the persistence of life under pressure. In a time shaped by colonisation, human conflict and the consequences of climate change inaction, it draws attention to animals that survive within fragile and changing environments.
The exhibition brings together species from across the world, chosen for the lives they lead. These animals reveal how closely human actions shape the conditions in which life persists.
Bloom honours the lives of animals, plants and fungi. It also holds space for hope, recognising the responsibility humans carry to protect the conditions that allow life to flourish.
Ultimately, it asks what it means to coexist in an uncertain world and what responsibilities arise when we recognise that human futures are inseparable from the lives of other species.
Bloom will open alongside Shorelines by Helen Brancatisano, Miriam Cullen, and Trish Yates, Sentient by Elliot Fox, and Partial Index by Dörte Conroy.
