Vilma Bader
Unconstitutional Love

Unconstitutional Love explores everyday encounters between people and their pets within Randwick council. Comprising 22 small-scale paintings, the exhibition moves between representation and abstraction, distilling gestures and atmospheres to reflect the emotional texture of community care, routine, and companionship.

Mary Colussi
When Ace Met Allo…

When Ace Met Allo… brings visitors behind-the-scenes of the early stages of novel writing. Brainstorms, research materials, visual inspiration, and samples of both the new work – an asexual romantic comedy – and the screenplay on which it is based are available for exploration and investigation.

Sophie Douglas
Whalefall

A brother and sister discover their estranged father is dying.

One cries.

One cheers.

Confronting him and each other, they face the fractures of their past.

Selected monologues and scenes offer a glimpse into Sophie’s playwriting process at Barrett House Studio.

Suzanne Leal
Cradleton

I am fascinated by those who live in small, close-knit communities, the secrets they hold from one another and the fallout when such secrets are revealed.  In my work-in-progress,  Cradleton, I explore the lives of five villagers whose past comes to haunt them when a baby goes missing.
