Artz Blitz is back for 2026! Submit visual art, poetry or creative writing for a chance to win great prizes.
This fun competition is a race against the clock: you’ll have 24 hours to make and submit a creative work based on a secret theme.
Entries are open to all ages and skill levels, with fantastic prizes up for grabs across categories including visual art, creative writing and poetry. Plus, your work will be judged by a panel of arts industry professionals, with winners announced at a vibrant awards ceremony.

2026 timeline
- Registrations open: Monday 30 March at 12pm
- Registrations close: Monday 4 May
- Theme reveal: Friday 8 May at 4pm
- Visual artwork drop off: Saturday 9 May from 12pm to 4pm
- Creative writing and poetry submissions: submitted online by Saturday 9 May at 4pm.
