Art for the Music
Bronwen Gibbs
April 29 – May 24
This exhibition is a symphony of small, intricately layered state etchings that accompany a flute and guitar dialogue.
Bronwen Gibbs, drawing from the visuals of her coastal environment, invites observers to focus on the often overlooked marvels in their own midst. Her muted hues of Western Port’s shores create a serenity through its representations.
Etching in non-conventional ways, she develops an interplay of layers, then applies colour to enhance, subdue or embellish.
Art for the Music elegantly integrates poetic imagery to complement the musical experience.
