Auslan music videos, cutting-edge Deaf tech and powerful vibrations

Deaf Club returns with a twist!

From 5pm to 11pm, gather with the Deaf community to catch up, eat, drink, and sign — just like the old Deaf Clubs.

From 6:30–7:30pm, the lights dim and the volume rises for Amplio Rocks!, a Deaf-led concert and dance party like no other.

Using Amplio — a revolutionary music app designed by and for Deaf and hard of hearing people — this interactive concert lets you see, feel, and fully experience music. Lyrics and instruments are shown visually on screen. Powerful vibrations pump through the floor. And Auslan music videos bring the emotion to life.

Hosted by Deaf author and composer Asphyxia, you’ll go on a hilarious and mind-blowing journey of musical discovery. Unpack what makes a song feel good, learn how to choose the right version for your hearing needs, and even vote on which voice or settings to use in each track.

Deaf participants are invited onstage to explore how music can be tailored to you. Whether you’re totally Deaf or mildly hard of hearing, you’ll find a way to connect.

Amplio Rocks! is also a template for how to create accessible music events using today’s technology. Music professionals and event organisers are warmly invited to attend and see what’s now possible.

Best of all, you’ll leave empowered to use Amplio at home or with friends to host your own dance parties — completely free.

The space includes a relaxed area with beanbags, cushions and seats, and is wheelchair accessible. The concert is presented in Auslan and English with captions.

Hearing people are welcome for the concert too — come discover how music feels, looks and sounds for Deaf people.
