Preview Cassie Hamilton’s highly anticipated new musical in this one-night-only concert, offering an intimate look at the show before its Sydney premiere.

Avis O’Hara (@theDIYDoll) is the most fabulous and famous trans influencer on the internet. Cutting-edge, left-tube vlogger Corrin Verbeck has had enough. Determined to expose Avis as a comphet, bio-essentialist, TERF-lite traitor, Corrin pretends to befriend her – but the plan backfires spectacularly… when Corrin falls in love.

This hilarious and unexpected lovers-to-enemies-to-lovers odyssey is a hyperpop musical about what it means to be the “right kind of trans”. But in the chaotic, nuance-free world of the internet, can love triumph over heartbreak, rage and the feistiest “am I allowed to laugh” hot-takes you’ve ever seen?

Featuring a talented trans and gender diverse cast including Cassie Hamilton (Satranic Panic) and Blake Appelqvist (Fangirls, & Juliet The Musical), and directed by Jean Tong (Romeo Is Not The Only Fruit, Heartbreak High), this concert presentation arrives in Melbourne delivers the full-throttle impact of its music and story in an electrifying, stripped-back format.

Don’t miss this fierce, funny and poignant exploration of identity, community and the transformative power of the trans community.
