Platform Arts engaged 8 young people from the Indie School in North Geelong as a cohort of honorary artists and Norlane residents as guest contributors and local experts. The youth team travelled through Geelong’s north to meet and interview residents in the Norlane community, discovering the human and more-than-human stories along Cowies Creek and Labuan Square.
This research culminates in a collaborative audiovisual installation that celebrates the stories and places of the Norlane neighbourhood in an immersive exhibition. People and places are never as they seem.
This exhibition is open for one week from 20 Feb – 28 Feb in the Platform Arts Performance Space.
