The AWESOME International Arts Festival for Bright Young Things is Western Australia’s premier children’s arts festival, delivering world-class creative experiences to young audiences aged 0-12 and their families since 1996.
Running annually during the September school holidays, the festival transforms Perth’s Cultural Centre into a vibrant hub of theatre, music, dance, visual arts, and interactive workshops. With a strong commitment to accessibility and inclusion, the festival ensures all families can participate in these diverse creative experiences.
The 2025 Festival will present over 20 productions and activities across multiple venues, featuring ballet storytime sessions, hands-on creative workshops, First Nations storytelling, and innovative sensory experiences. With many free events, high-quality arts experiences will remain affordable and accessible to all families.
