The Diploma of Design (Visual Communication) is your fast-track introduction to professional design training. Across two trimesters, you’ll develop core skills in visual communication, creative problem-solving, and design thinking while working in purpose-built studio spaces.
The Diploma of Design (Visual Communication) gives you the core skills every emerging designer needs. You’ll start with design thinking, visual fundamentals, typography, and layout, building a strong creative foundation. As you progress, you’ll explore branding, storytelling, and user interface design while learning to communicate ideas clearly and confidently. Through hands-on briefs and collaborative projects, you’ll begin shaping your portfolio and developing your personal design style. By the end of the diploma, you’ll be ready to step into further study or take on junior design opportunities with real, job-ready skills.
