Build on your existing creative skills and develop your own artistic voice and command of techniques with the Certificate IV in Visual Arts.
You will develop critical and conceptual thinking skills, to extend your creative practice and to broaden your understanding of what it means to be a successful arts practitioner in today’s art industry. Upon successful completion of the course, you will be well positioned to apply for entry into our Diploma of Visual Arts course.
In this course you will learn about:

- how to realise a creative project
- exhibiting a body of work
- the arts industry
- painting
- printmaking
- photography
- sculpture
- drawing
- work health and safety
This qualification will prepare you to continue study in the visual arts field at Diploma level that will support a professional art practice career. You may also use your skills and knowledge to continue producing artwork for personal interest or gain.

After completing this qualification, you could continue further study in the Diploma of Visual Arts.
There is no formal placement in this course, however you will have the opportunity to work closely with the local arts community.
