Bachelor of Music (Performance)
Take Center Stage
The Bachelor of Music (Performance) program will guide you to refine your musicianship, develop your collaboration skills, and help you stand out as a performer.
You will emerge with the skills and confidence to command the stage and excel in the studio.
What You’ll Study
Hone your craft as a performer on your chosen instrument, receiving personalised mentorship in one-on-one sessions while shaping your sound in group workshops. Beyond mastering your instrument, you will connect and create with students from other disciplines, from composition to creative technology, to build your network from day one.
This course is designed for students on the contemporary music pathway. If you are interested in studying classical performance, please see our dedicated Bachelor of Music ( Performance) – Classical course page.
There are three stages in the Bachelor of Music (Performance), depending on the depth of study you prefer.
You may exit with a Diploma of Music at the end of 3 study periods.
Domestic students may exit with the Associate Degree of Music at the end of 4 study periods full-time (accelerated).
The Bachelor of Music (Performance) is awarded upon completion of 6 study periods for domestic students only (2 years full-time accelerated).
