Bachelor of Creative Arts (Visual Arts and Design)

The Visual Arts and Design major is tailored for individuals driven by a passion for both art and graphic design. This distinctive interdisciplinary program empowers students to explore a diverse range of visual art forms – including drawing, painting, sculpture, ceramics, photography, and installation – alongside contemporary visual communication design practices such as interaction design, socially engaged design, client-based projects and spatial design.

Students engage in hands-on studio projects enriched by studies in art and design history and theory, providing a strong foundation for creative and critical thinking. The program offers the flexibility to integrate both creative fields, enabling students to develop unique skills needed to thrive in the contemporary arts and creative industries.

Mentored by experienced practicing artists, designers and scholars, students are equipped to navigate the multifaceted demands of the real world, ready to make a meaningful impact in their chosen field.
