Ahn Do’s Wombat Man

Artist, comedian and author Anh Do has won the 2014 Kogarah Art Prize $8,000 with his portrait Wombat Man.

Sydney Museum of Contemporary Art Curator Anne Loxley, who judged Do’s work as the winner from 35 finalists, described Wombat Man as: ‘A commanding portrait, and the bravura of his painting style is very impressive.’
