Emerging and established artists from around Australia working in painting and sculpture are invited to apply for the Georges River fine art prizes which include a painting award (acquisitive $10,000 cash prize), sculpture ($5,00 cash), and more. There is also a Little Artist Prize and Youth Prize for young creatives (between 7 – 12 years and 13 – 17 years respectively). 2020 winner Leon Lester advises: ‘The best advice I received was simply to “do” art… as long as you are creating, the rest is all in the process.’
