Roadmap leads museums and galleries away from colonialism

 Today Australia’s peak body for museums and galleries released a 10-year plan to transform how the sector works with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.

The Australian Museums and Galleries Association (AMaGA) plan, First Peoples: a roadmap for enhancing Indigenous engagement in museums and galleries, aims to improve Indigenous engagement and employment throughout the cultural sector, not only at galleries and museums but in education, training, government and audiences.
