Pollies promise arts support as Tasmania prepares for the polls

The Liberal Government, the Labor Opposition and the Greens are all wooing the Tasmanian arts sector in the lead up to Saturday’s state election.

With the Tasmanian state election taking place this Saturday 3 March, the established political parties are wooing the support of arts sector voters with a range of election promises.

Richard Watts is ArtsHub's National Performing Arts Editor; he also presents the weekly program SmartArts on Three Triple R FM, and serves as the Chair of La Mama Theatre's volunteer Committee of Management.
