Mental Health First Aid for Creative Industry

Creative social enterprise Rumpus brings Mental Health First Aid training to practitioners in creative industries across Sydney and the Illawarra.

Mental Health is one of the most growing issues for creatives, arts practitioners and organisations, and directly affects 1 in 3 people.

MHFA is the nationally accredited course to teach people the skills to help someone who they're concerned about.

The 2 day course teaches you how to listen and respond to someone with a mental health problem, even if they are experiencing a crisis. You’ll learn how to help someone to access support they might need for the successful management of symptoms as part of their recovery journey.

Join us at Joynton Ave Creative Centre for mental health training with a creative focus!

Rumpus also hosts MakeShift: Creativity on Prescription, an 8 week program to connect people with creative practices as part of mental health treatment and wellbeing.
