Parrtjima is an annual event which takes place 3-12 April 2020 in Alice Springs. Parrtjima is the only First Nations festival of its kind, bringing to life the stories of Australia’s oldest living culture through technology, music, storytelling and art.
Set against the backdrop of the MacDonnell Ranges, Parrtjima is held on Mparntwe (Alice Springs), forming the largest natural outdoor gallery in Australia. Held over 10 nights, the free event includes incredible artwork and light installations alongside a public program of interactive workshops, music, films and talks.
