Itinerant Art Project

Itinerant: Travelling from Place to Place | An art project about homelessness.

The Itinerant Art Project is a collective of artists with lived experience of homelessness and housing insecurity. We do arts and storytelling workshops, share information and advocate to improve the homeless experience, and make art. We came together to share story, raise awareness and break down stigma of homelessness / itinerancy, create community connections, and to tell our story, our way. We use mixed media to make artworks that intervene in the public environment, creating opportunities for people to engage in new ways, to have a conversation, to share our stories.

This year we are excited to be presenting a number of events in partnership with Watch This Space ARI and the Desert Festival 2020:

Opening at Watch This Space Gallery, Thursday September 17th, 5.30pm to 7.30pm
