After the Fires, After the Pandemic

Visit Gang Gang Gallery Lithgow in July to experience the Timescapes Exhibition, exploring the impact of the fires that ravaged the Greater Blue Mountains during our recent Black Summer, and the COVID pandemic that devastated our economy.

The exhibition will feature sculptures and art works from local artists and an innovative Timescape Voices exhibition.

Artists Peter Beeh, Jane Canfield, Natasha Daniloff, Wendy Hawkes, Bill Hope, Boyd McMillan, Anjum Olmo and Lithgow High School Students

Curated by Brad Diedrich, Sean O'Keeffe and Barbara Lepani, and set against moving images, Timescape Voices weaves the story of our times through the voices of Sean Butler, firefighter at Clarence, Sharon Riley, Wiradjuri Custodian on cultural burning, Jayde Lutischini on youthful uncertainties, Rich Evans on reimagining the future and Chris Tobin on the practice of just being with nature at Chris Tobin art camp at Bell.
