BLOOMSBURY IN BLOOM: the sisters, Virginia Woolf and Vanessa Bell, and their gardens with Rosemary Irving

An illustrated talk which discusses the charming and very individual gardens of the writer, Virginia Woolf, and her sister, the artist, Vanessa Bell, and why the gardens were so important in their lives. Virginia's garden at Monk's House and Vanessa's at Charleston, both in Sussex, became sanctuaries for them, places of peace and serenity in their often chaotic lives.

ROSEMARY IRVING, veterinarian and wool producer, lives in Gippsland and is a keen gardener and reader.
