Artist Learning: Sharing your blak arts practice with young people

An artist learning workshop on workshops, lead by Taungurung artist and curator, Kate ten Buuren. Got an idea for a workshop with young people but don’t know how to make it happen? Join Kate as she leads participants through an emu feather bundle-making workshop and presentation, casually introducing ways of centring blakness, honing your ideas, attracting your audience, how much to charge, and places to host your event that are supportive of blak arts and culture.

Kate runs this mob, a First Nations arts collective dedicated to amplifying the work and voices of emerging blak artists, and is also a curator at Koorie Heritage Trust.
