PANELLISTS:

DR. SADIAH BOONSTRA (INDONESIA)

Dr. Sadiah Boonstra is appointed Asia Scholar at Melbourne University and an independent curator based in Jakarta, Indonesia. Research-informed and audience-oriented, she combines her academic expertise with experience in curation, producing, and public engagement programs for a broad cultural practice. Sadiah works with contemporary visual and performing artists to challenge dominant discourses and representations of artists and their artforms on contemporary stages, in museums and galleries.

RHANA DAVENPORT ONZM (NZ/SA)

Rhana Devenport ONZM is Director of Art Gallery of South Australia and previous Director of Auckland Art Gallery Toi o Tāmaki (2013-2018) and Govett-Brewster Art Gallery / Len Lye Centre (2006-2013), both in Aotearoa New Zealand. Rhana is a curator, writer and cultural producer whose career spans art museums, biennales and arts festivals. Her curatorial interests include contemporary art of Asia and the Pacific, time-based media and social practice.

KEE HONG LOW (HONG KONG)

Kee Hong Low is Director of Programs for the West Kowloon Cultural District Authority, Hong Kong, previous Artistic Director and General Manager of the Singapore Arts Festival, and founding Director and General Manager of the Singapore Biennale. An active scholar, Kee Hong has ongoing research interests in cultural policy, urban planning and architecture, performance studies, vernacular and contemporary culture and arts of Southeast Asia.
