Entries to Australia’s highest value art prize for women are now open and close on 23 February 2022, midday Daylight Saving Time Eastern Australia. Opening Night is 13 May 2022.
There are three prize categories: Professional Artist ($35,000), Emerging Artist ($5,000) and Indigenous Emerging Artist ($5,000). There is also a Peoples’ Choice Award of $2,000. All media is accepted and there is no theme. Artists are asked to enter an artwork which reflects their art practice.
First conducted in 2017, the Ravenswood Australian Women’s Art Prize was established to help raise the profile of women artists across Australia.
