Georges River Council is seeking Expressions of Interest from artists/teams of artists to create and install of a number of artworks to contribute to the Un[contained] Arts Festival, returning to Kogarah in June 2022.

Georges River Council held the successful inaugural, COVID-19 safe Un[contained] Arts Festival in June 2021 which attracted over 26,000 people. Un[contained] expands and challenges the ideas of what ‘art’ is, breaking it free of a traditional gallery space and letting it take over the streets.

Georges River Council welcomes applications from artists/teams of artists across five categories:
1. Large scale community participatory artwork (up to 2 artists selected)
2. Small pop-up artworks (up to 3 artists selected)
3. Performance art pieces (up to 10 artists selected)
4. Mural/Street art (up to 6 artists selected)
5. Installation artwork (up to 3 artists selected)
Expressions of Interest close at midnight on Sunday January 30, 2022.
