The Metro Tunnel Creative Program Artist Pool is now open for new registrations.

The Metro Tunnel Creative Program is calling for Victorian creative practitioners to register interest in joining our Artist Pool.

The Artist Pool is one of the primary methods for inviting artists to apply for future opportunities managed by the Metro Tunnel Creative Program. This opportunity is open (but not limited) to visual artists, poets, writers, musicians, performers, theatre workers and more.

Deadline

Online submissions open Wednesday 15 June and must be completed by 11:59pm (AEST) on Friday 15 July 2022.

Creative opportunities

The Artist Pool gives creatives access to opportunities to produce work for temporary construction fencing, activations alongside major city events, interpretation pieces related to the Metro Tunnel Project, and more.

To date, 226 Artist Pool members have been selected for opportunities. Many of the commissioned works have been displayed on the Metro Tunnel Project’s construction fencing, which is used as free public art space.

Eligibility

You must be a Victorian resident and able to demonstrate previous professional work. Prior public art experience is not a requirement. All registrations must have a relevant ABN.

NB: this is an opportunity for new artists to join the Artist Pool. Those already registered in the pool are welcome to update their contact details at any time via email to creativeprogram@metrotunnelcyp-pco.com.au
