A program for the Waverley local creative community to connect and create at Bondi Pavilion
Waverley Council and Bondi Pavilion have opened Expressions of Interests (EOIs) for their new Local Creative Collaboration Program.
For this round of EOIs, we’re looking to support the development of performing arts projects. If you’ve got something that you’re working on, and you love the idea of getting creative in the Yalagang Room at Bondi Pavilion (right on Bondi Beach), apply now!
Our Local Creative Collaborations program helps artists to create and develop work, with the potential for showings for local audiences, and more generally, contributes to a vibrant artistic life at Bondi Pavilion.
This opportunity is available to local creatives at all stages of their practice from emerging to established. We recognise locals as any Waverley Council resident or any creative with a demonstrable connection to the Waverley community.
Priority will be given to local creatives and/or projects with a strong resonance to the local community and local audiences.
The key focus of the Round TWO Expressions of Interest (EOI) is to provide opportunities for creative development of new performing arts works in Bondi Pavilion’s Yalagang Room.
Bondi Pavilion is an inclusive cultural space, welcoming applications from individuals and groups from diverse backgrounds including First Nations, culturally and linguistically diverse, all sexualities, genders, neurodiversities and access artists.
Located on the Ground Floor, the Yalagang Room is a multi-purpose, multi-artform community and creative space, and will drive the artistic life of the Bondi Pavilion building.
For all enquiries, please send an email to artsopportunities@waverley.nsw.gov.au including your best contact number and time and we’ll get back to you soon.
