Western Downs Regional Council are commissioning a new artwork at the Lake Broadwater Conservation Park, 30 km south-west of Dalby, Queensland.
Emerging, mid-career and established artists are invited to propose 2D or 3D designs for a site responsive piece that creatively and sensitively engages with the cultural heritage and natural environment of the location. The successful applicant will understand the power of public art to contribute to the aesthetic improvement and interpretation of the built and natural environment as well as its ability to reflect and build community identity and pride.
