Harden Art Prize is in its third year and has gained a following across Australia after its successful inaugural exhibition held in the rural twin towns of Harden Murrumburrah in NSW in 2022. Â
The acquisitive prize of $10,000 is open to all artists who are resident in Australia with our first two winners hailing from Melbourne.Â
The community committee responsible for presentation of the event is Harden Art Prize Incorporated which evolved from an initiative of dual sponsors Harden Murrumburrah Community Bank and Geoffrey Kruger Trust.
Opening night for the exhibition of finalists in the historic Old Courthouse Murrumburrah is Friday 5 April 2024. The exhibition is open on consecutive weekends, 6 and 7 April and 13 and 14 April 2024.
Entries close 5pm 16 February 2024.
