Taking place in January and February 2024, The GPAC Summer Residency offers performing artists and groups free access to space, time and technical support for new works in development.
Whether you are a writer, composer, musician, multi-media artist, dancer, choreographer, puppeteer, comedian, singer or even circus performer, this program is open to all genres including but not limited to opera, theatre, orchestral, musical theatre, live music, children’s theatre, cabaret, circus, physical theatre and dance.
Running as part of the new Creative Industries Training Centre (CITC), the program includes use of GPAC’s innovative Town Hall Theatre space, mentoring and peer support from experienced creative practitioners as well as the chance to network with other artists, present your work-in-progress to an audience, and pitch it to the GPAC Creative Team.
