A key action from the 2021-2031 City of Greater Geelong Arts & Cultural Strategy is a new music festival, Surround Sounds – Geelong and the Bellarine slated for Friday 8 April through to Sunday 8 May.
Geelong and the Bellarine has a strong live music cultural heritage. Surround Sounds – Geelong & the Bellarine Music Festival seeks to consolidate and contribute to this proud heritage with a celebration of live music, presented in multiple locations across the municipality. The Festival celebrates the music, the people, the places and the spaces of the City of Greater Geelong & the Bellarine.
The Festival will feature concerts, workshops, multi-arts collaborations, and exclusive events, designed to deliver a wide variety of musical styles and interests.
Gigs in established venues, to intimate performances in secluded locations, Surround Sounds – Geelong & the Bellarine Music Festival will bring artists, venues and audiences together in a celebration of all-things music.
