Artists from across Australia are invited to submit entries to North Sydney Art Prize 2022 to be held from 14 – 29 May at the iconic Coal Loader, 2 Balls Head Drive, Waverton NSW.

The 2022 curatorial theme embraces innovation and encourages artists to consider the overarching principles of the Coal Loader Centre for Sustainability. This unique post-industrial site enables broad participation and accommodates the inclusion of all mediums. Indoor and outdoor site specific and sculptural works are encouraged.

The total prize pool for the North Sydney Art Prize 2022 is $41,000 with six award categories:

Major Open Award $20,000
Award for Sculpture $12,000
Site Specific Award $5,000
Emerging Artist Award $2,000
Work on/with Paper Award $1,000
Award for Drawing $1,000
