Since 1973, the Biennale of Sydney – a leading international contemporary art event – has commissioned and presented the works of 1900 artists from all around the world.
As we approach our 50th anniversary in 2023, we are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Artistic Director – or Artistic Director team – that can lead the vision of the Biennale in this key moment in our history; someone that embodies our core values of being boldly creative, agile, collaborative and respectful in all that we do, with a commitment to place and keeping people connected through contemporary art and ideas.
If that could be you, please complete the Expression of Interest form including a short 500-word statement of intent, outlining your vision for the 2024 edition, along with a current copy of your CV.
Expressions of Interest must be submitted by 5 pm AEST on Monday, 27 September 2021.
