The Transporting Arts Pilot Program is a partnership program led by the Department of Transport and Planning (DTP) in collaboration with Metro Trains, Yarra Trams, V/Line, and local councils.  The Program aims to enliven the community and passenger experience at tram stops and train stations across Victoria with public art installations by local artists.

This initiative aims to create a welcoming environment for commuters and visitors while showcasing the unique local landscape. To achieve this, we are seeking art submissions that embody Caroline Springs’ identity as a place of growth, diversity, and opportunity. The artwork can be new or existing and should celebrate what makes the area an exceptional place to live, work, and visit.  The selected artwork will be installed on the side walls and ceiling of an underpass at Caroline Springs Station. The artwork will be digitally printed on ACM panels with protective anti-graffiti film.

Artwork submissions can be new or existing, and we welcome all visual art representations for consideration.
