Incinerator Gallery exhibits work by emerging and established artists, curators and community groups in Boadle Hall each year. The space is well-suited to solo or group exhibitions in painting, printmaking, installation, textiles, sculpture, or video.

Priority will be given to applicants who demonstrate a consideration of the local area, history, or community through their application. For example, the proposal for a site-specific artwork, a public program, or through a connection to Moonee Valley.


There is no charge to exhibit in Boadle Hall and selected applicants will receive the following:

– $1,000 artist or curatorial fee to exhibit;

– 9-week exhibition duration;

– Support in exhibition design, writing, curatorial and technical assistance, marketing and publicity;

– Public Program engaging with the Moonee Valley community, such as a workshop or event;

– An official opening alongside other exhibitions.
