Applications for Volunteers Guides are open now until 11.59pm on Tuesday 29 October 2024. The National Library relies on its Volunteer Guides to run the daily 11am tours and also a ‘meet and greet’ service to answer questions from visitors in our foyer.

The time commitment is around one shift per fortnight – 30 minutes if running a tour or 4 hours for a ‘meet and greet’ shift in the foyer. Volunteers can nominate their own shifts to fit in with their schedule and lifestyle.
