CALL FOR ENTRIES TO THE 2024 NATIONAL WORKS ON PAPER
Up to $60,000 acquisitions and awards

Entries open Thursday 18 January

Entries close Friday 5 April

Exhibition dates 31 August – 24 November

The 2024 National Works on Paper (NWOP) is one of Australia’s most prestigious acquisitive awards.

A biennial exhibition, its role is to support and promote contemporary Australian artists working on or with paper.

Artworks must be created from the beginning of 2022. Paper must act as the main two or three-dimensional support of the work or the work itself. We love an expanded notion of how paper can be used through collage, animation, sculpture, drawing, printmaking, painting, artist books, cutting, embossing, stitching, photography, digital printing. We are open to all forms of expression, as long as paper is involved.

HOW TO ENTER

Online entries only.

No hard copy entries will be accepted.

Artists can only submit one work.

What to submit:

• Digital image of the work (high res JPEG format, 300dpi, up to 3MB)

• Artist Statement about the work (150 words, Word doc or PDF)

• CV (max 2 page, word doc or PDF)
