Exams and assessments are underway and we do hope you’re managing the load. It’s World Mental Health Day on Tuesday 10 October, and while there’s increasing awareness and reduced stigma, as far as seeing people with lived experience of conditions like schizophrenia and autism enabled and included in arts spaces, there’s still a way to go. Check out Heidi Everett’s impassioned and experience-informed piece written as part of the Amplify initiative.

This month we meet two students who talk about their study: in screen media; and publishing and editing; and we learn about accessible writing – an important reminders, as we all tend to get verbose when we’re trying to sound impressive.
