The Sydney Festival has received excellent news this week, with the NSW Premier and Minister for Western Sydney, The Hon. Barry O’Farrell announcing a huge $1.7 million in supplementary funding.

Included in the $1.7m is a conditional $500,000 to specifically target events in Western Sydney. This will build on the Festival’s commitment to present work in the West – a goal it has been striving to maintain since 2003.
