Photojournalists awarded for unique insight

The China International Press Photo (CHIPP) Contest has awarded three Agence France-Presse (AFP) photojournalists for their work.

Afghan photographer Qais Usyan won the Gold Prize in the General News category, American photographer Javier Manzano won Silver Prize in the War and Disaster News category and Indian photographer Dibyangshu Sarkar received an Award of Excellence in the Art, Culture and Entertainment News category.
