On the Move: Latest sector appointments and departures

ACT Writers Centre appoints new CEO while National Film and Sound Archive of Australia’s CEO steps down, Chunky Move appoint Choreographer in Residence, and more.


Commencing in 2021, Wiradjuri man Joel Bray will undertake an $80,000 two-year residency with Victorian dance company Chunky Move, in partnership with the Tanja Liedtke Foundation.  

This major new initiative extends Chunky Move’s commitment to supporting established independent choreographers to develop their careers, while furthering the company’s ambition to transform how contemporary dance is experienced, valued and understood.
