Kate Sulan, the founding Artistic Director of Melbourne-based company Rawcus, has announced her intention to step down at the end of July after 22 extraordinary years. 

The company said in a statement: ‘Kate has led with an ethos of connection and care by making and presenting audacious theatre and cultural experiences with and for our diverse community … Kate well deserves to spend more time with her family and explore the next phase of in her own creative work.’
