New partnership streams Syd Fest nationwide

National cinema tour, online streams and performances on demand could see the Festival doubling its audience.

An allocation of $392,000 in the September round of RISE funding will enable Australian Theatre Live to screen multiple productions at the 2022 Sydney Festival across Australia.

The entrepreneurial partnership between Australian Theatre Live and Sydney Festival will capture an array of festival events through a mix of live streamed productions, video on demand shows and a national cinema tour, together with Q&A interviews with artists live-streamed into selected cinemas.
