New legal service for writers and illustrators

Authors Legal is a new service that will provide legal advice on publishing matters.

The Australian Society of Authors (ASA) has recently announced the launch of Authors Legal, a new non-profit law firm that will offer low-cost legal advice for ASA members.

Designed for writers and illustrators at any stage of their careers and headed by Managing Lawyer and Director Victoria Chylek, the service seeks to provide assistance on contractual matters, in particular:
