Million dollar gift paths future for design education professionals

Creative Futures Foundation has gifted $1M to Museums Victoria for targeted professional learning programs and opportunities targeting emerging designers.

Museums Victoria have accepted a $1 million trust from Robert Treseder, Founder and Chair of the Creative Futures Foundation. The money is tethered to design education, professional learning programs, and other related opportunities.

Minister for Creative Industries, Danny Pearson said: ‘Design is a vital 21st-century capability, one that drives innovation, tackles challenges and can help shape a better world. By investing in design education and skilling up Victorian teachers, this generous gift from Robert Treseder and the Creative Futures Foundation will boost design learning opportunities for Victorian students.’
